HE TANGATA IL MARE
Exhibition and public programme | Naples, 2027
An international contemporary art exhibition and public programme bringing together artists from Italy and Aotearoa New Zealand to explore navigation, maritime knowledge, memory, identity, and cross-cultural exchange through contemporary artistic practice.
Developed in relation to Naples’ maritime history and the wider cultural context surrounding the Louis Vuitton 38th America's Cup, the project spans exhibition-making, public programming, and international cultural collaboration.
Hazel is leading the project’s development through Associazione Culturale Intervallo, overseeing curatorial direction, institutional partnerships, artist engagement, and strategic development.
TENOR: MY NAME IS PATI
Feature documentary | 2026
A feature documentary following internationally acclaimed Samoan tenor Pene Pati and his brother Amitai across Samoa, New Zealand, Europe, and the United States, exploring music, family, identity, and performance.
As Associate Producer, Hazel worked across the project from development through to release, contributing to production coordination, contractual and stakeholder management, talent liaison, communications strategy, audience engagement, and international release support.
The film premiered at Santa Barbara International Film Festival, with international release planned for late 2026. Following its New Zealand theatrical release, the film became one of the country’s highest-grossing documentary releases at the box office.

The association supports projects that move across disciplines, geographies, and cultural contexts, with an emphasis on dialogue, exchange, and public engagement.
